Our clients had bought the property specifically to rent out short term. We were tasked with turning this from a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom flat to 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. To do this we created hallways, changed door positions and maximised usable space.
We moved the kitchen from a smaller room into the biggest room of the house to allow for the kitchen and dining area to be together. The kitchen incorporates a small breakfast bar which acts as a separator to the dining area. It also provides additional work surface. The client was keen to show some exposed brick above the kitchen and our building team facilitated this, producing a very natural looking result.
Hours of Work
We can’t take much credit here, although all pieces were thoughtfully purchased through local suppliers we know in Prague.
Our first time exposing brick was a great success. A whole wall and part of a wall were exposed for a more rustic look. We were lucky with the quality of the wall beneath, but still created a very good end product. We cleaned the plaster right back, re-pointed the brickwork and covered the whole area with a coat of sealant to provide protection without too much shine.
